I’ve become the man my younger self needed. The kid who felt broken, bullied, and lost. The one who was told he’d never amount to anything. I push for him.
I was that overweight, depressed kid with no confidence. I was picked last. Teased endlessly. I had a guidance counselor tell me I wasn’t smart enough to pursue science.
And for a while, I believed it.
I hid behind humor. I masked pain with food. I thought if I could just achieve more, maybe then I’d finally be enough.
But the real shift happened when I stopped trying to prove the world wrong and started trying to prove that kid right. The one who still dared to dream, even when everything around him said he shouldn’t.
So now, every early morning, every long work session, every hard workout, every product I formulate, every time I speak, I do it with him in mind.
Because maybe your story looks different, but I bet you’ve got your own younger version of yourself too. The one who needed more love, more belief, more strength than the world gave them. And maybe you’re working hard today not because you’re broken, but because you’re finally ready to become whole.
Let me remind you:
– Goals mean more when they’re aligned with your authentic self, not ego.
– The strongest version of you honors and integrates every scar from the past.
If you’ve ever felt like you weren’t enough, this is your call to rise. You don’t need to impress anyone but the version of you that never stopped hoping for more.
