HONOLULU — The University of Hawai’i women’s volleyball team will host Arizona State and Wisconsin in two spring exhibition series in March.

The Rainbow Wahine will welcome reigning Big 12 champion Arizona State to SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center for matches on Monday, March 10 and Tuesday, March 11. UH will wrap up the spring schedule with matchups against perennial Big Ten power Wisconsin on Tuesday, March 25 and Wednesday, March 26.

The site of the March 26 match against Wisconsin is to be determined. Ticket information for the spring matches will be announced at a later date.

The Rainbow Wahine return eight letterwinners from last season’s 21-10 team that captured a Big West title for the fifth straight year by winning the Hawaiian Islands presents the 2024 Outrigger Big West Championship. UH won the tournament title for the second straight year to earn the program’s 31st consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament and 42nd overall. The ‘Bows also added five newcomers to the roster in the spring semester who are taking part in the team’s offseason training program.

Arizona State went 30-3 last season and placed 13th in the final AVCA/Taraflex Division I coaches poll. The Sun Devils captured the Big 12 title with a 17-1 conference record and was a No. 3 regional seed in the NCAA Tournament before falling to Texas A&M in the second round.

Wisconsin closed 2024 at 26-7 overall and 17-3 in the Big Ten and finished at No. 7 in the final AVCA poll. The Badgers earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the regional final before ending the season with a loss at Nebraska.
