The Montana women’s basketball team recently made a pair of additions from the transfer portal to bolster their roster for the 2025-2026 season.

On Saturday the Lady Griz received a commitment from Kennedy Gillette, a junior transfer from the College of Southern Idaho. Gillette, a 6-foot guard from Rexburg, Idaho, led her team in scoring (13.9 PPG) and made threes (52) last season as a sophomore. Gillette was honored as a third team NJCAA All-American.

Then on Sunday they received a commitment from sophomore transfer Jocelyn Land, a 6-foot forward from Chanhassen, Minnesota. Land averaged 3.4 points per game last season for Butler as a freshman, playing in just over 10 minutes per contest. Land was a McDonald’s All-American nominee coming out of high school.

These are the first two transfer additions for Montana head coach Nate Harris, set to begin his first year as Lady Griz head coach.

So far the Lady Griz have not lost any returning players to the transfer portal.
