If the invites to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine are any indication, the Texas Longhorns are in position for an historic draft class after 14 former players received invitations on Thursday, tied with the Georgia Bulldogs for the second most behind the national champion Ohio State Buckeyes.

It’s also a program record for Texas.

Here are the former Longhorns who received invites:

  • Quarterback Quinn Ewers
  • Running back Jaydon Blue
  • Wide receiver Isaiah Bond
  • Wide receiver Matthew Golden
  • Tight end Gunnar Helm
  • Offensive tackle Kelvin Banks
  • Offensive tackle Cam Williams
  • Offensive guard Hayden Conner
  • Center Jake Majors
  • Defensive end Barryn Sorrell
  • Defensive tackle Alfred Collins
  • Defensive tackle Vernon Broughton
  • Cornerback Jahdae Barron
  • Safety Andrew Mukuba

Last year, Texas had 11 players invited to the combine in Indianapolis leading into an historic 2024 draft for the Longhorns. All 11 players were selected in the first six rounds, the most of any program, and the most players picked from Texas since the NFL went to the seven-round draft in 1994, as well as the third-most overall.

The Horns have a chance to break those marks again this year as head coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff continue to develop players at a high level.

The combine takes place from Thursday, Feb. 27 to Sunday, March 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
