MANHATTAN, Kansas – K-State soccer head coach Mike Dibbini has added a trio of freshmen to the 2024 roster. The four additions are junior Anna Emperador, sophomore Ryann Reynolds and freshmen Farrah Stephens-Martin and Sydney Veatch.
Emperador, a transfer from Oregon, is a defender from Elk Grove, California. She played in 37 career games with the Ducks, logging 27 starts and two assists. At the conclusion of her sophomore season, she was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District 8 Team.
In her club career with San Juan SC, she was an Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) U17 Northwest All-Conference First Team selection and named to the West roster for the 2021 ECNL National Selection Game. She helped San Juan SC to the 2017 ECNL National semifinals.
Reynolds is a forward from Snohomish, Washington, and played last season at Oregon. In her lone season in Eugene, Reynolds appeared in 17 matches with six starts. She led the Ducks with five points, scoring two goals and recording an assist while attempting 17 shots.
In her prep career at Glacier Peak High School, she helped the program to four straight conference titles and helped the team to the quarterfinals of the 2021 Washington state tournament. She carded 56 career goals to set the school record for career goals. She was a four-time All-Wesco League First Team honoree including Wesco League Player of the Year in 2022.
In her club career with Crossfire Premier, she was named a 2022 ECNL Northwest All-Conference First Team recipient. She helped Crossfire Premier win the Northwest Conference titles in 2021 and 2022 and helped the club reach the 2022 ECNL national finals.
Stephens-Martin is a forward from Sutton, United Kingdom. She has played on several international squads and represented Wales on the U17 team at the UEFA U17 Women’s Championship in Sweden in 2020. She also played in the Brighton and Hove FC Academy and played for Arsenal Academy U16’s. In addition to her success on the soccer field, Stephens-Martin captured the Surrey County 200-meter title on the track.
Veatch is a defender from Germantown, Tennessee. The product of Houston High School has also played club soccer with Lobos Rush Memphis and 05/06 Lady Lobos E64.
In her four seasons with Houston High School, Veatch has helped the program to a 62-8-5 record and two state runner-up finishes and two state third-place finishes. She has carded 15 goals in her high school career.
In the 2023-24 season, Veatch served as a team captain and was named a Division I All-Metro selection while helping the Mustangs to a number eight national ranking, a 17-1-2 record and a third-place finish in the state.
